No Post This Week & RIP to A Boyhood Crush

Hi all.  I'm sorry, but we have family stuff going on this weekend.  So, I won't be posting other than these tribute pics to Dame Diana Rigg who passed away earlier this week.  I'm a huge James Bond fan, and one of the few among such fans who rates On Her Majesty's Secret Service as one of the best Bond films.  I don't recall when I saw it or her for the first time, but I think it was back in high school. Whenever it was, I had a serious crush from that point on.  I wasn't very attuned to such things at the time, but I've always felt she had a remarkably kinky vibe. While a bit sheer, this first pic seems to be quite fitting for this Year of the Mask.

  1. Hi, Dan,
Jimmy and I love the retro show The Avengers (shown in your third picture), which was an even better role for Diana Rigg than as the wife of James Bond. Emma Peel in the Avengers was definitely kinky: She often wore a black leather cat suit with "kink boots" (Dominatrix boots). While she looked and acted Domme with the bad guys, and quite enjoyed kicking their asses, she allowed her partner (and by implication sex partner) John Steed to Dom her, prodding and grabbing her with his umbrella/weapon anywhere he wanted, including down her shirt as your picture shows and around her neck (and when Jimmy and I dress the parts, between her legs). Emma Peel is also supposedly the first character to grab her crotch on film, way before Michael Jackson and others popularized it. And note that while she was clearly sleeping with Steed, he always called her Mrs. Peel because she was married to someone else (who just happened to be missing). Kind of kinky that your sex partner always uses your courtesy title.
Jimmy and I had quite a few karate fights in those costumes that wound up with us laughing on the floor in each others arms and then him removing that cat suit with much haste ...

    1. Hi Belle. I've actually never watched The Avengers. You now have me intrigued, and it's awesome that you have watched it even though you're a generation younger. Interestingly, I've thought there is a D/s kind of vibe in Her Majesty's Secret Service. Her father in the movie basically recruits Bond to seduce her on the premise that she is out of control and needs someone to dominate her. Though, I guess that was not exactly an uncommon movie theme in the 60s and 70s, i.e. the willful woman who gets subdued by the strong man. In any event, that whole movie is pretty kinky even by Bond standards.

    3. Dan,
Belle is right about the avengers. Her full in charge persona was on display in that program. The costumes underscored it but she could have been in overalls and a torn t-shirt and one would've felt her commanding presence. Back in those prehistoric days , she must have launched a million F/M fantasies. I believe seeing her was the beginning of my awakening that I was attracted to in charge women. I have often wondered about her private life. She could well have been pure vanilla but I doubt it. Even a great actress could not have projected the kind of sheer command that she did without a lot of it being real

    4. She definitely had an incredible sexy aura that mixed sex and power. Even at 80, she projected immense power and charisma in her role in Game of Thrones. And, that role too had a very explicit mix of sex and power. At one point, she advises her granddaughter to, essentially, fuck her way into the favor of a very young and naive king.

    5. “She definitely had an incredible sexy aura that mixed sex and power “It is interesting how synergistic power and sexuality are, not just to men but also to women. Yet if either sex uses just one to achieve their objective it can backfire, if women for example exercise authority alone, they are sometimes seen as “bitches”- and if sex alone, it often becomes just transactional. But when sexuality and power are combined as Riggs did so very well - the earth moves. I suspect this is an insight that most disciplinary wives understand well. Power is indeed a potent aphrodisiac

  2. Dan,
I had a comment for here but I added it to the wrong blog (the next one). Could you fix that, please? You know, like a good boy?

    1. Blogger doesn't give me a way to move a comment from one post to another, but I can cut and paste, which I've done below.

  3. I think it's fascinating how Domme you guys all think Diana Rigg was, as Emma Peel and as Bond's wife. But what Domme let's a guy hook his umbrella down her shirt and pull her toward him? Emma Peel was some kind of bad-ass switch, I would say. She beat up on every guy she wanted to, but when it came to John Steed, she was a wise-cracking brat who let him take the upper hand. I feel the same way. I like punishing my husband, but when we finally get back to the bedroom I want him to turn me every which way but loose. Do other disciplinary wives out there want it both ways? And why the hell not? Belle
