Poll: How Many of Us Are There?
The phenomenon that is 50 Shades of Grey certainly proves that there are A LOT of people out there with an interest in kinky sex with BDSM themes. But, while people may be comfortable with women getting spanked, is the same true when the man is the receiver? Has the world changed that much?
I've spent a fair amount of time reading spanking blogs and reading material in Yahoo groups devoted to F/m spanking. It seems that there are quite a few men who are interested in F/m discipline, but how many of them are actually doing it? And, how many women are interested in disciplining their men? It often seems to me that the answer to that last one is, "not many." But, I have a really hard time understanding why. If it is "a man's world," and women feel they are in a society where men have most of the power, why is there not a lot of interest in turning the tables?
My goal for this blog is to stimulate a dialog, so please comment. But, if you don't have time or are nervous about leaving a comment, please take a few seconds to fill out the poll to the right of this entry. It takes only a few seconds. While I've already had several hundred page hits in the week this blog has been active, only 10 people have taken the poll. If you like what you see on this blog, please take just a second to fill out the poll.

This blog is a curated resource for those genuinely and positively interested in DD and FLR lifestyles. Comments that are rude, uncivil, inconsistent with the blog's theme or off-topic may not be posted or may be removed. Please use a name or initials (doesn't have to be your real one) when commenting - it helps commenters keep track of who is "talking."
Hi DH,
ReplyDeleteI don't know the answer to your questions, but I can provide a little bit of insight. Three of the top ten (and 6 of the top 20) referrers to my blog are F/M spanking blogs. Some of these blogs pull in very large readerships. I cannot tell you who is reading, but there is plenty of interest in F/M spanking and discipline.
Also, forgive me for not answering your poll, but none of the options apply to me. :)
With warm regards,
Bonnie
I couldn't answer your poll either, but next to Chross and My Bottom Smarts, I get most of my traffic from Consensual Spanking, and many of my comments come from men in an F/m relationship. It's quite a common lifestyle.

I agree with Bonnie and Hermionie, for many years I ran a DD blog about my (mis)adventures as a spanked husband. At its height I was getting 300+ visitors a day and new posts often peaked at 600+ on the day or so after publication. So its seemed to me there were plenty of people interested in F/M spankings. Surprisingly not all my comments were from men, maybe a third or more of my correspondence and comments were from women, not all of whom were into F/M spanking. Many were just interested in how DD worked, a lot of aspects of that are interchangeable. I think there are more people into DD, and F/M DD than you might think. Which is great!

My wife spanks me as real punishment. She uses strap, wooden paddle and cane, me bending over desk tied.
